How did I evolve as a User Experience Designer?

With 8 years in UX design and 19 years in advertising, broadcast media, and design across various industries, I bring a creative skill set that distinguishes me from many new age UX designers.

This extensive experience has honed my ability to manage high-profile business meetings with senior stakeholders patiently and effectively.

Why did I become a Portfolio Counsellor?

I often encountered brilliant ideas from young UX graduates that failed to translate into effective case studies as they lacked the skills to articulate their concepts effectively.

To bridge this gap, I took the initiative to mentor design graduates, guiding them in refining their ideas and articulating them with confidence.

As a Design-Career & Portfolio Counselor, I help the design graduates craft compelling portfolios, secure jobs and admissions, and ultimately, elevate the design industry.

Irfana has a great combination of talent and work ethic that has shaped her into a multi faceted designer, art director and illustrator. She is comfortable working across disciplines from TV commercials, print and outdoor advertising, animation and UI/UX design and is an instinctive aesthete. She is patient to understand briefs well before starting work and is a great team player, dependable in stressful campaign situations. I have worked with her at an ad agency, TV channel and a start-up, in all situations her contributions have made the work shine.

I rarely come across real talents who stand out like Irfana. I had the pleasure of inviting her several times at école intuit.lab for juries and workshops, I was impressed by her ability to guide students effortlessly. That skill often takes years to develop among education professionals, but it seemed to come perfectly naturally to her. And no matter how hard students have to work, Irfana made sure everyone left with a smile. I will definitely invite her again in a very near future.
