Design Career
Counselling

In this one on one counselling program, I will help you understand your volition in your career, review your portfolio, offer written edits on your SOP draft, and help you know your design aptitude with clarity.

Portfolio
Building

In this program, I will help you articulate your ideas, give written feedback, offer developmental editing on content, and build clear layouts to publish on web.

I will help you consider ways to take your portfolio to the next level, so that you feel confident, about the work you have spent much time & energy into.

Everyday we see marvellous mockups, shots and portfolios on Dribbble or Behance. However, it is not the attractive visual that convinces stakeholder to accept the design. The most important skill for a designer is to be able to articulate decisions made during the design process.
Design graduates often turn their strong ideas into ineffective portfolios as they lack articulation skills.
- As a Portfolio Counsellor, I help them stay with their core idea, teach how to concise their communication with clear layouts.
"If you win, I win and as a result, we become a better design industry."

Irfana Biviji
Portfolio Counsellor & UI UX Designer

Some of the universities our students have got admissions into

Irfana is awesome! Her work already speaks volumes about her skill but as a person, she is just heartwarming. I was clueless. It is because of her that I am where I am and I can never thank her enough for it.

Product Designer, Microsoft

4.5/5

Applying for Master in Design, surely needs a proper guidance, especially while building the portfolio. Irfana was exactly the perfect guide I was searching for.

Pranav Gawde, Product Designer, MTu Delft

I needed guidance by someone who also understands design and presentation. Irfana was the perfect consultant, having helped me with selection of appropriate projects, all the layouts, the text and overall presentation, to create an aesthetic that represented me. Her help with the CV was amazing. Being my first professional résumé, she helped me add in creating a layout that was brief and articulate yet detailed for a design student.

Jaynee Karia, Architect, Domus Academy

Being an architectural student, we tend to get attached to our work and start to put unnecessary things in our portfolio. Irfana taught me who to look at your portfolio from a professional perspective which was very helpful. She went about the whole process constructively from helping in making my own logo to typography. Will surely recommend for designing your professional profile and portfolio 😄

Kunal Chhatlani, Architect

She's an excellent counsellor and guide. For my portfolio requirement she gave me precise solution as to what admission committee is looking for. I highly recommend Irfana for counselling.

Most students can have great ideas but may not have the experience to work in a Design industry. Design Career Counselling helps the students. to understand his aptitude as a designer and his volition to work, which sets the right attitude to work.

Unfortunately, most people’s portfolios are not easy to skim or scan. Recruiters and hiring managers don’t have time to read tons of text.

Using our portfolio templates for Keynote, PPT, or Elementor, you will save a TON of time and ensure your portfolio stands out.

Architects, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, Fashion Designers, Product Designers, Animators, UX Designers & Researchers, UI Designers, Engineers from Non Design Background, Visualisers, Textile Designers, or Any Student from a Non Design background who to make a portfolio online or on PDF.

It depends on the student, how ready is their portfolio before they starts their journey to put it online. It can range from 3 to 12 weeks.

The Portfolio can be published online on a secured AWS Hosting with WordPress and Elementor platforms. We have an in-house Dev Ops Engineer, who advises and sets up, which helps the student edit the portfolio independently.

Basics of Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator, if they know Adobe Xd or Figma it is a plus point.

Due to Covid, in person meetings have been stopped. Instead Recurring Google Meet Online Sessions are scheduled and planned in advance for Weekends between 2pm to 7pm.
